It is a common axiom that blue-chip companies are attracted to other successful companies when doing business. Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice PLLC, a top law firm in the Southeast United States that attracts some of the most esteemed partners in its field, fits the bill as a blue-chip firm. Rollins-PCI Construction, with its stellar record of performance to a targeted group of select clients, fits the bill as a successful company. That these two firms should collaborate proves that axiom is correct.
With its recent move into a new market in Downtown Baltimore, WCSR continues to confirm its status as a top blue chip law firm. The fact that Rollins-PCI Construction was awarded the build-out of the new Corporate Interior for WCSR provided additional confirmation of what many other blue chip clients know and what Inc. 500 recently recognized: that Rollins-PCI Construction is one of the fastest growing companies in the US.
Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice has a primary goal, like other organizations that enter a new market, to make a splash. This can be accomplished in several ways, for example, by collaborating with a mover and shaker in the region or by setting up an office at a premier address in the new market. As opposed to choosing between these two options, WCSR did both. WCSR approached Governor Erhlich to become the founder of its Baltimore office. At that time, they also decided to set up their new office in the “Class A” trophy building adjacent to Camden Yards at 250 W. Pratt Street.
As with most high visibility projects, the build-out was put on an extremely fast track and the schedule had no room for slippage due to current leased space considerations. It was with that set of priorities that the Rollins-PCI Construction project team started construction on the 17,000 square foot, and once again, Rollins-PCI Construction was up to the challenge. In utilizing its expertise in high-end corporate interiors with an already impressive list of blue-chip clients, Rollins-PCI Construction completed the project within the required schedule and exceeded the expectations of the firm and its partners.
The fast track schedule did not influence the firm to go sparse on its finishes. Marble tile, rich woodwork and internal glass partitions used throughout the space frame the awe-inspiring views of the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards below.
The combined collaboration of WCSR and Rollins-PCI Construction accomplished much by way of furthering each firm’s success, and most importantly, a prominent example of… A SPLASH!
