Fine Addition to Kensington on Connecticut Ave.

KENSINGTON, MD, October, 2005 – Traveling up Connecticut Avenue going north from the Beltway and crossing into the Kensington city limits, you will notice the familiar peaks and beautiful brick façade of another new branch of local leading bank, Chevy Chase Bank. After breaking ground last August, Rollins-PCI Construction Company has crafted a striking building whose doors opened to the public in early 2006.

As in all Chevy Chase Bank branches, the interior finishes of the final product that Rollins-PCI's delivered contained an opulent cherry-wood millwork package, upgraded light fixtures and a marble entrance foyer. The exterior walls are brick veneer in the distinctive color, striking trim and distinctive roof line that has become synonymous with Chevy Chase Bank throughout the Greater Washington, D.C. region. Immaculately landscaped grounds frame a substantial parking lot and drive-thru teller lanes.

This building is certainly a fine addition to the area, in keeping with the local character and flavor of Kensington.
