Branch Bank in Strip Shopping Center
First impressions mean a lot in business. First impressions are particularly important when you are opening your first retail bank branch in a new market. American Partners faced this challenge recently when they planned for their first branch in the Washington DC area. Their unique concept for the new branch was to create a more open feel without traditional teller lines. In addition, although trying to build the branch in a fairly confined space, American Partners’ highly specialized and detailed plan required a General Contractor with experience in the banking industry and a keen attention to detail to make their vision a reality. Rollins-PCI Construction proved to be the right choice as General Contractor to confront these challenges and excel in constructing the branch.
American Partners Bank relied on Rollins-PCI Construction to build this branch to capture the essence of their unique brand and they were not disappointed. Many unique and creative design elements characterized this project including customer service kiosks with a curved geometric millwork package and flooring that incorporated colored Ardex insets within the floor tiles. The ceiling plan called for suspended floating drywall ceilings and a specialized lighting package. One interior wall consisted of graphic art sheets that captured images of the American Partners Bank logo. To allow for enhanced customer privacy, Imago panels were installed at the kiosks and in select locations throughout the space.
During the construction phase, Rollins-PCI Construction's exceptional team of in-house carpenters made several recommendations that will ultimately reduce American Partners’ monthly maintenance costs prompting high praise from American Partners’ Chief Financial Officer. For example, the initial architectural plans called for the Imago panels at the customer kiosks to be installed with metal brackets. Unfortunately, the resulting look of the kiosks was totally unsatisfactory to everyone involved. Luckily, Rollins-PCI Construction's Field Superintendent recommended a solution that not only enhanced the appearance of the panels but also decreased the amount of maintenance the panels would require in the future.
Attention to detail. Cost effective construction solutions. Experience building banks. These are only a few of the reasons why most blue chip companies in the Washington-Baltimore Region turn to Rollins-PCI Construction as their General Contractor and Construction Manager of choice.
Like American Partners Bank, a company only gets one chance to make a strong first impression. Choosing Rollins-PCI Construction is the right first step for any company trying to make a strong first impression.
